James focuses on appeals, employment, and estate work. Before coming to Brisbee & Stockton, he worked at a large international firm in Houston practicing transactional, contract, and maritime law. Before law, he managed retail bank branches where he helped folks improve their financial health.

While earning his JD from Baylor Law School, James participated in national moot court competitions. He now coaches moot court teams for Baylor. He also holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and a BA from the University of Oregon.
