Joseph is a litigation and appellate attorney. He primarily focuses on the defense of professionals in negligence and licensing Board matters in Oregon and Washington. He also practices in the areas of general liability defense and insurance coverage, and advises clients on OSHA, WISHA, and HIPAA compliance. In addition to this focus, he provides comprehensive litigation support including the preparation and argument of complex and strategic motions in circuit court and is responsible for appellate matters at the Firm.

He has taken multiple cases to jury verdict, bench trial, and arbitration in Oregon and Washington and has briefed and argued matters in the Oregon and Washington courts of appeal.

In 2026, Joseph was recognized as the 2026 Attorney on the Rise by the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel, an award given to a young lawyer (practicing 10 years or less) who exemplifies a broad range of high achievement, integrity, professionalism, civility, vision, leadership, and service, as nominated and voted on by their colleagues.
